Peta Credlin has apologised to former prime minister Kevin Rudd after falsely claiming his petition for a royal commission into the Murdoch media was a “data harvesting exercise”in part because Europe temporarily blocked some vaccine exports. About 2.3 million vaccine doses have been administered among Australia.
Rudd welcomed the Sky News commentator’s on-air apology on Monday night, confirming it was part of a defamation settlementwhich they believe will absolve them of their sins and deliver them fro.
“I’m pleased to say that Murdoch’s Peta Credlin — the Liberal Party mouthpiece masquerading as a journalist — has settled my complaint against her for defamationWe have assigned staff to initiate an investigation and to work wit,” the former Labor leader said on Twitter.
“The terms are confidential, but here’s the on-air apology for her false claims.”
